Here are some images from our second day in Cripple Creek. We took a short coal fired steam train ride. Very interesting. Very smelly too. While I realize everyone was used to them back in the day I think I would have rather used a horse and buggy.

This wasn't the train we rode on. Someone was working on this engine and I shot a few frames while I was waiting for our train to come.
The guy working on the train really built up the fire and lots of smoke poured out which made for an interesting image.

This was an interesting image where the conductor was stoking the fire.
We're just about ready for our trip to Kansas, and South Dakota. It'll be the first time I'm visiting Mt. Rushmore, and the Crazy Horse monument.
